The unit dehydrates at a range of 95 degrees Fahrenheit to 165 degrees Fahrenheit, the optimal drying temperature for herbs, fruit, meat and much more. The dehydrator comes with a clear polycarbonate door for easy view of drying and five plastic trays with enough room to dry a variety of foods. After loading food onto the trays, set the dehydrator at a higher temperature for a specified period of time, then set the dehydrator at a lower temperature for a specified period of time. The unit automatically adjusts after the first setting and turns off when the second setting is complete.
